Bhoomi make Stack Flow Meter and advantages
Bhoomi make Stack Flow Meter is based of differential pressure – flow measurement principle and compensated for pressure and temperature. It provides continuous measurement of Stack Flow Rate and Stack Velocity. It incorporates unique design features to offer highly accurate and more stable measurements over a wide flow range.
This In-situ Stack Flow Meter directly inserted into the stack or vent is made of
- Pitot tube
- Differential pressure transmitter
- Absolute pressure sensor
- Temperature sensor
- Control unit for computation of velocity and gas flow rate
- Auto Purge unit
The Stack Flow Meter is easy to install, commission and operate. The pitot tube is available in various lengths to accommodate all types of process stacks and vents.
Its robust design and rugged built makes it suitable for applications where other stack flow meters can no longer be used. It applies to applications with very high stack gas temperatures, high moisture percentages and high dust or particle concentrations.
The Stack Flow meter features fully automatic purge system for high dust concentrations in stack. The system purges the pitot tube automatically and periodically at regular intervals in order to avoid blockages even with large dust and particle loads to guarantee maintenance free continuous operations.
In addition to stack velocity it measures stack temperature, static pressure & flow rate.
